Bag/Nickel Program

CNFC is dedicated to reducing the use of paper and plastic bags. To encourage our shoppers to use reusable bags, we provide an incentive program that offers each shopper not taking one of our bags either a 5¢ credit off their purchase or a token of equal value which can be donated to either of two charities we feature each quarter. Take a Bag/Leave a Bag

Along with the Bag/Nickel Program, CNFC offers yet another way to reduce our use of single-use bags by offering shoppers one from our collection! Through the generous donations of CNFC Member-Owners we have a small supply of reusable bags available for your use. Use it now and bring it back later! You can also donate reusable bags to the Take a Bag/Leave a Bag Program simply by dropping them off with a cashier!

The Chico Really REALLY Free Market

CNFC is proud to be a sponsor of the Chico Really Really Free Market which takes places once a month in our parking lot. The Chico RRFM is a gathering based on an alternative gift economy. Participants bring unneeded items, skills, and talents to give away for free. It holds as a major goal to build a community based on sharing resources, caring for one another and improving the collective lives of all. There is no trading, bartering, or selling; everything is free! The Chico Really REALLY Free Market takes place on a Sunday, once every 3 months, from 11am-2pm in the CNFC parking lot.
